Chasing The Wind - Beginning August 5
July 21, 2012Every day we get up, take a shower, brush our teeth, head out the door and begin the pursuits of the day: Meetings, soccer games, to do lists, relational struggles, financial dilemmas and on and on it goes, day in and day out.
Let’s face it. Life is packed with activity, responsibility, and pursuits that leave us void of meaning and purpose, wishing we could find something more.
We convince ourselves, that if only we could…
make money
enjoy more free time
fall in love
have more respect
start a family
land that job
buy that thing, etc. etc.
…then we would be satisfied.
We are Chasing the Wind, heading down one dead-end street after the next; looking for something that will bring meaning and satisfaction to life. As a result, we find ourselves wind blown, chaffed, and confused by the winds of life.
