The Media Team is a critical part of the Creative Arts Team at West Ridge. At the core of our purpose is stealth and detail. Just like the color of your clothes can bring out the color of your eyes, we want to surround God's worship with an experience that will bring out His truest beauty and big-ness.

To begin the process of getting involved with the Media Team, click the "download application" link, fill out the requested information, and e-mail it to the address on the form, or drop it off by the Production Suite door this Sunday. [The Production Suite is located on the Adult Groups hallway on the 2nd floor.]

Visual images can help draw a person into an authentic worship experience. Our Video Team creates visual images that help enhance the environment during worship. A striking video image of God's Creation can help us describe what with words would be indescribable. Likewise, a well-composed still photo can help draw attention to a moment or a characteristic of God. Members of the Video Team are a unique breed because they are not only artists who can help compile appropriate imagery...they are also responsible for maintaining and modifying the systems that enable them to be presented.

There is another member of the band that you don't see on the stage... That's our Lyrics Operator. It is this person's responsibility to help people worship without the distraction of feeling like you can't sing along because you're not familiar with the songs being sung.

We all learn in a unique way. Some learn best by listening, some by reading, some by taking notes. During our teaching times at West Ridge, we typically provide notes on paper and on our screens that the audience can follow. Our Notes Operator is responsible for fine-tuning the notes on the screen and presenting them at just the right time during the teaching.

Audio is the most noticeable part of the Media Team at West Ridge. Without quality audio engineering, the worship experience can be very uncomfortable. If something is too loud or too quiet, or the tone of an amplified instrument or speaking voice isn't natural, it can draw more attention than it should. Our Audio Team strives to strike that balance and ensure distraction-free worship.

Our lighting team works hard to help create an environment of intimacy and reverence during worship, as well as atmosphere or impact to help enhance a message or make a statement.
