Ready to Share God through Missions? Below you will find the confirmed trips to our three Global Partners for 2010. Once you are ready to commit, click on the 'Register for Event' tab. There you will find a simple registration form and a place for you to pay your trip deposit. Following your decision to GO we will follow up with you concerning all the particulars of your trip and assign you a personal account number that you can use to raise your funds.

Each trip has a strong possibility of filling up. We encourage you to register right away.

Brazil (High School Students and Leaders)

Trip Summary

We are partnering with National Pastors and Conplei Ministries to build a training center to equip tribal people to be able to engage over one hundred unreached people groups along the Amazon River. The training center is being built near Iran-duba, which is located across the Rio Negro from the beautiful city of Manaus.

Trip Summary

Join us in working alongside our church partners just outside of Havana. We will work to help them serve their communities, and to assist and train them in doing Women’s, Children’s and Small Groups Ministry.

Trip Summary

Help us reach out to the Pugli people by working out in the bush doing church construction. We will also be working to spread the gospel in these villages by showing the Jesus film and others acts of service.

Trip Summary

Work alongside our partners in Ouagadougou, BF helping us teach ESOL and encourage the staff at the Lycee Alliance Christienne High School. We will also be ministering to the poor in Sector 30 by distributing food and necessities.

Burkina Faso

Found in West Africa this country is one of the poorest in the world. One in three children die before the age of ten. Many of those are from water-born illness. It has an extremely high illiteracy rate and unemployment is off the charts. 55% of the country is part of the muslim faith and 40%+ are part of animist tribes.

In 2009 'West Ridgers' Chris and Connie Feilds committed to raising support to live in the guest house we have built on the outskirts of the capital city of Ougagdougou. Chris and Connie will be hosting teams from West Ridge and other churches that are partnering with us to make a difference in Burkina. Please pray for them and their five children as they prepare to be in country January 2010.

Ministry Opportunity

Specifically, we are partnering with C&MA to help expand the number one rated high school in the country called, Lycee Alliance Christienne (LAC). This Christian High School not only educates better than anyone else in this country the staff also shares Christ with these muslim students every day.

We are also partnering to help reach the Pugli people. The Pugli are an animist tribe in the Southwestern part of the country that are classified as 'unreached'. In the last several months we have worked alongside C&MA to build churches in the Pugli tribes. We have also worked with C&MA to drill wells that are placed in the courtyard of these churches and placed under the care of the local congregation. By inviting villagers to come receive water they also have the opportunity to receive Living Water in the message of Jesus Christ.

Sponsorship

We also make sponsorships available through Compassion International. By sponsoring a child in Burkina you are helping to provide nutrition, medical aid, and schooling to a Burkinabe child. By coming with us on a trip you will have the opportunity to visit that child, meet their family, and possible see where they live.

A portion of your regular tithes and offering go to support Pete and Alice and Chris and Connie every month.

Cuba

Just 90 miles South of Key West there is an extraordinary little country full of the most amazing people you will ever meet. The island nation of Cuba is open to receive mission teams from the US. We have worked for several years with both the American and Cuban Government to travel legally to work with two church partners just outside of Havana.

Partners

We partner with two churches outside of Havana and assist them in equipping their children's workers and small group leaders to help them further their vision of starting more groups and planting more churches. We also provide assistance in helping them to serve and transform their local community with acts of kindness

Ministry Opportunity

The equipping and training we provide does not take ministry experts. Rather, it is our desire to connect participants from West Ridge that allow you to journey as a Christ follower and to build relationships.

Brazil

One of the most intriguing places in the world is Amazona is Northern Brazil. We have begun to work in a city called Iran-duba, just across the Rio Negro from the city of Manaus.

Partners

Connected by Mission Resources International West Ridge is entering into a new partnership with Conplei. Conplei is a group of native, tribal Brazilian Pastors who have come together in unity to try and spread the gospel to more than 100 unreached people groups along the Amazon River.

Ministry Opportunity

Because of government restrictions and cultural barriers only native tribal people can share the gospel in the villages down the Amazon River. For that reason, we are partnered with Conplei to build a vocational training center in Iran-Duba where tribal people can come to learn a trade and hear the gospel. As they receive vocational training and become followers of Jesus, many of these people will also be trained as Pastors and Leaders to take the gospel back to their villages.

Whole families will come to this 240 acre training center located on a tributary off of the Rio Solimoes at the headwaters of Amazon River Proper. This strategic location will enable Conplei and its partners to train leaders that will be able to reach out for hundreds of kilometers up and down river.
