Breakfree Ministries - Provides instruction, support and guidance through mentoring relationships for children currently being monitored by the Paulding County Juvenile Court. Breakfree Ministry provides volunteer opportunities for our members to make a difference in our community in the lives of children and families. This ministry needs individuals to volunteer to give of themselves in worship and to provide mentoring for troubled youth. CAYA (Come As You Are) - Seeks to provide assistance to families in need of food, clothing, financial aid, mentoring and spiritual guidance in the more depressed area of our community. They also focus on assistance for single parents and nursing homes in our area. Volunteers are needed on an ongoing basis to assist in mentoring, counseling, and food distribution. Warehouse of Hope - Provides for physical needs of individuals and families through the distribution of food, clothing, and ESL classes. This ministry also provides volunteer opportunities for our members and Journey Groups to serve those persons that are currently experiencing difficult financial times. The Warehouse needs volunteers to help with the distribution of food and restocking shelves as needed. West Ridge is starting a brand new class to help you in your discipleship journey. Come listen in as the Outreach Team helps equip you to go on a cross-cultural trip, serve in your community, share your faith, and be a good neighbor. In this 5 week course, you will also have the opportunity to learn very specific information about the people and culture of the countries we partner with. We will discuss the specific ministry activities each trip will participate in, how to pack, what gifts to take, what to wear, and much, much more. Everyone is invited to attend whether you have already signed up for a trip or not. *We are requiring the completion of this course BEFORE participating on any global trip.
