West Ridge is starting a brand new class to help you in your discipleship journey.  Come listen in as the Outreach Team helps equip you to go on a cross-cultural trip, serve in your community, share your faith, and be a good neighbor.  In this 5 week course, you will also have the opportunity to learn very specific information about the people and culture of the countries we partner with.  We will discuss the specific ministry activities each trip will participate in, how to pack, what gifts to take, what to wear, and much, much more.  Everyone is invited to attend whether you have already signed up for a trip or not.  *We are requiring the completion of this course BEFORE participating on any global trip.

When:             Wednesdays, September 10th - October 8th

Time:               7:00 p.m.

Location:         Multi-Purpose Theater, West Ridge Church

Childcare:       $3.00/child [Praiseland check-in]; *IF YOU NEED CHILD CARE, PLEASE LET US KNOW PRIOR TO CLASS DATE.

Ministry Partner Updates

One of our goals here at West Ridge, is to provide updates to you on men and women that we support all around the world. At West Ridge, we look to partner with local churches who have a heart for their own community and know how to reach people in their own context.

As we receive updates, we will make them available to you here.

If you or your Journey Group would like to get periodic updates from one of our specific partners in Jamaica, Israel, Cuba, Africa, Russia, Cambodia, or Romania let us know.  Simply send us a request to outreach@westridge.com. You can also visit our 'global' blog at www.thekindnessnetwork.com.

ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

- Passports are required for all International trips (including children).

- Each team member is encouraged to raise their funds (just like missionaries do).

- All gifts are tax deductible (Please make checks payable to West Ridge Church).

- 100% of your gift goes towards underwriting the cost of this trip and the team member will be credited for amount raised. These funds are solicited as contributions, and as such, are non-refundable to either the team member or donor, even if the team member is unable to participate in the trip for any reason.  Funds are to remain in the account for the registered trip alone, and are non-transferable towards other trips, even in the event of overages..

- Each trip registration must include a $50.00 deposit in order to confirm your spot on the trip, receive your trip packet, and your Personal Identification Code which is required for tracking contributions.

- Please reference the team member code # (not the name) in the memo portion of your check. 

- Please refrain from sending out support letters for trips until after you have officially registered for a trip (and been given a personal code). Failure to do so may result in the team member not receiving full credit for monies earned, as they will be applied into the general missions fund.

- Each team member must complete a Medical Release form prior to trip departure. (See Link Below for Form).
