The weekend of July 25-27 was a milestone weekend in Paulding County. Over 3000 people (confirmed) from 8 different churches combined efforts to carry out 250+ service projects throughout the area. Projects ranged from simple landscaping cleanups to replacing roofs. From painting homes to building 80-foot long retaining walls. From distributing food and school supplies to moving an entire high school's classrooms into a new building.
And to top it all off, nearly 5000 people gathered to celebrate at a powerful worship service in the Sam's Club parking lot in Hiram! Different denominations, different colors of skin, different skills and abilities, but One Body, One Community...Being the Church!
